Holiday Fun with Madison and Ella

I have been photographing these wonderful girls for many years now and it is always a pleasure to do so.
This year I was able to do the creation session in their beautiful home and do something I had been hoping to do since their Mom first mentioned making some kind of "heirloom" print that could be taken out each Christmas and hung for decoration, even when they have grown.
What a great idea she had! Why not use your own piece of art to adorn the walls at Christmas.
We did a family portrait and several different poses of the girls. I particularly like this one and plan to paint it for the final Heirloom Print. I'll post it when it's done.

After taking the portraits by the fire, we went out to play in the snow. We sure were lucky that the weather cooperated. We had plans for "fake" snow to put on the evergreens, but the day dawned with a fresh coat of fluffy snow and later, while doing the outdoor session, we were treated to a beautiful snow shower.

We have now taken sessions in all the Seasons and each one has been a delight!

Winter's HERE!

December - Joe and Shannon's Wedding Album

We finished Joe and Shannon's beautiful wedding album in time for the Holidays. Shannon was kind enough to write a note.

"I just wanted to write to you to tell you thank you very much for taking my pictures for my Wedding. I absolutely love them. It really does tell a story. I can't wait to show them to my family and friends. Especially my Grandma, because she can't see real well, so this will definitely help!!! It is definitely amazing to see how different the pictures look."

Weddings like their's are a joy to photograph and it was a privilege to be chosen for the job.

Wild Time at the Graffiti Wall

My daughter Morgan and I have been to this area before to take portraits. It provides a multitude of unique photographic opportunities.
This time we took her boyfriend with us for a fun fantasy session. We took many photos and worked until the sun set. We will definitely go back again in the Spring for more fun.
