I have been photographing these wonderful girls for many years now and it is always a pleasure to do so.This year I was able to do the creation session in their beautiful home and do something I had been hoping to do since their Mom first mentioned making some kind of "heirloom" print that could be taken out each Christmas and hung for decoration, even when they have grown.
What a great idea she had! Why not use your own piece of art to adorn the walls at Christmas.
We did a family portrait and several different poses of the girls. I particularly like this one and plan to paint it for the final Heirloom Print. I'll post it when it's done.
After taking the portraits by the fire, we went out to play in the snow. We sure were lucky that the weather cooperated. We had plans for "fake" snow to put on the evergreens, but the day dawned with a fresh coat of fluffy snow and later, while doing the outdoor session, we were treated to a beautiful snow shower.
We have now taken sessions in all the Seasons and each one has been a delight!
